Update (12/11): While the deadline to find a legislative replacement for DACA isn’t until March, DACA recipients’ statuses are already expiring, and the program will be a key bargaining chip in the upcoming 2018 budget discussions. A funding agreement must be passed by Dec 22nd to avoid a government shutdown; a stopgap agreement passed Dec. 8th provided no relief for DACA recipients.
